In 1990 Dog World invited me to write notes for the Spinone and for ten years I penned weekly copy and the occasional article. TFH Nylabone approached me in 1993 with a view to writing a breed specific publication - I had no idea at the time that 90,000 words would be required, or that the project would stretch across five years! 'The Italian Spinone' went to press in 1999 - the first English-written and definitive book for the breed enthusiast.  |
