I hope you will forgive the limited labelling of the hundred or so photos below and enjoy them nonetheless!   I have attempted to work forward from 1987 - 2007 and have included breeding where I was able.   Pedigree information is available at our wonderful Club website www.italianspinone.co.uk cleverly managed by Linda Mayne and Jan Anderson.

A big thank you to John Daniels for his lovely images and also to other contributors - Linda, Jan, Lesley and owners of dogs from this small kennel.

'Stop Press' will provide current news and photos from 2008.

'History' provides more details of how this small kennel has evolved from working Obedience with Labradors and exhibiting New Forest Ponies, to the stage we are at today - 30 years later!

I have benefited from a number of 'spinonisti' in a variety of ways since starting with this wonderful breed in 1987 - a big 'hug' and 'thank you' to you all :-

... the late (and sorely missed) Linda Collins, Rod Allison, Paolo and Roberto Amadori, Nadir Guerrini, Nadia and Salvatore, Allison Schultz, a number of friends from SCoA (you know who you are) - for the dissection and 'thrashing over' of the breed standard and its interpretation in a number of countries late into the night (accompanied by a bottle of something or other)!

... Ezio and Ellie Venturi, Rory Major and Steve Kimberley - fieldwork trainers and fellow triallers - their passion and expertise helped to keep me focused on the 'whole' Spinone and their handling skills often turned a useful hunt/pointer into an award-winner!

I look forward to the next thirty...
