You will find below a selection of photos from 1983 to present day. The inclusion of the gallery in this website is to ive you a 'flavour' of the type and capabilities of the Golden Retrievers bred under the Bedeslea affix since that time. I have attempted to work from the past forward, but I apologise in advance for the limited labelling - I did my best with the limited skills available!
The final litter, born in 2004, included the working test winner, B. Canny Lad, whose photo can be found in the 'Terrier and Co' gallery (due to the mysteries of the technology that created this website)! Any late additions will be added to that gallery.
A number of my Goldens have been shown with some success (B. Blushing Bride via Seruilia, B. Midnight Song, B. Black Eyed Susan and B. Black Jack to name some of those since 2000); others have competed in fieldwork, filming or obedience and over twenty have worked in the community as assistance dogs with Canine Partners for Independence. All have been wonderful companions.
Pedigrees are not included, but are available at www.k9data.com .
A big 'thank you' to Catherine Zingg for my first gorgeous Golden - Polly (Rayleas Gipsy of B.) and to a number of Golden folk on the way who have made the past twenty five years so enjoyable - Glennis, Pam, the Sue's, Sue & Dave, Jane, Janet, Heather et al.
Sincere thanks to photographer John Daniels (Shoot), who is responsible for many of the beautiful quality images and to friends and owners, who provided some of their treasured snapshots. See more of his work at his personal website in the 'links'.
