In 1977 the 'Bedeslea' affix was registered with the Kennel Club - taken from the Anglo Saxon title of 'Baddesley', the village in Hampshire in which I was born. Labrador, B. Kitty Fisher (Katy) - daughter of Lucy Locket of Bedeslea, our first pedigree dog - won 13 x 1st prizes in Obedience competition up to the end of the decade.
In 1980, the first two Siamese kittens joined the Labs. The first of many!
In 1983 my first Golden Retriever was born and Polly (Rayleas Gipsy of B.) joined the household and later made her mark in the showring and at working tests. Her grand-daughter, Winter Jasmine at B.(born 1986) was the first Golden from this kennel to win a number of working test and field trial awards and to gain show awards.

1987 - First Spinone, Bosco born 10 March. Joined me at the end of April.

1989 - Lidia (Capricho Duchessa) joined us.
1991 - FT award gained with Bosco
First litter born from Lidia/Bosco
1992 - Multiple BD and BOB awards with Bosco at ch shows prior to CCs (in 1994) Also BB and BOB awards at ch shows gained with Lidia and first Group Open Show BIS winner for the breed. Briona won BPIS at the ISCGB Open Show under Angela Ciceri
1993 - Coco (Montecani Mocha della B.) born. Litter from Capricho Breganza to Bosco produced Baffo (B. Bona Fido).
1994 - Top Puppy in Breed for Coco.
Baffo appeared in two episodes of London's Burning. Bosco and Baffo 'worked'with the Goldens in studios and on location
1995 - Briona kept in partnership from Bosco/Lidia mated to K Ceasarino. Baffo gained his Junior Warrant.
Coco mated to Baffo to produce B. Magari who founded Steve Kimberley's Spunholme kennel in 1997, producing two FT award winners in S. Silver Blaize and S. Man Of Tor for Caldera.
Baffo competed in Field Trials, handled by Steve Kimberley. Zanfi Barna Brown (IWS) came to join us.
Florence mated to K Ceasarino producing Tosca (B. Quaresima), Cassie (ShCh B. Dama Pasquale - first show dog and first show champion for Rita Allum), Rory (B. Capello) - multiple BOB winner for Martin Wellman and FT award winner B. Pasquarella (Nora).
1996 - Brindleoak Precocious of B. (Border Terrier) joined us.

1997 - Moses (Redrue Sanday at B.) arrived from genetically-cleared CA dam and mated to Tosca in 1998 producing Heidi(B. Isadora) for Canine Partners and B. Infidelity (CC winner).
1999 - Bosco sadly died aged 12 years. Rory Major handled Nora (B. Pasquarella) to Top Field Trial position for the year.
2000 - Litter repeated from 1997 produced my ShCh Brindisi, ShCh Boscarelli - first show champion for Martin Wellman, GS winning Bricco Viole for Sue Colliety.
Moses won his first CC/BOB at WKC - sadly died from cancer in 2001
2001 - Moved to Devon. Tosca mated for a last litter to Moses' sire, Linda Collins' imported show champion Brody and produced Eco di Mare (Junior Stakes winner) and Eco D'Oro to found kennels for Kay Holden (Italix) and Rita Allum (Macarica) - both have produced CC winning stock. Golden litter from B. Tiger Lily produced B. Black Jack and B. Black Eyed Susan.
2002 - Infidelity won well, including 2xRCCs and his first CC. Died following an RTA some months later.
Esta started her show career aged two years with great success.
2003 - Esta won her first CC and was later mated to Letyreos Cold Cut to produce Hetty - 1st show champion for Barbara Abbishaw - Hastabbi, first JW and CC-winner for Ruth and Jeff Roberts with Roger (B. Cutting It with Mirkwood), RCC-winning Tilly (B. Cutting The Cards) and Sonarba foundation bitch for Barbara Harrison and first CC-winner in the breed for Graham and Deanne Underwood with Dash (B. Cutting A Dash). Golden girl, 'Black Eyed Susan' produced a litter of 12 that included B. Blushing Bride via Seruilia (future dam of Seriulia Snow Bear JW) for Glennis Hewitson.
2004 - Hetty (B. Cutting Edge via Hastabbi) won her first CC, was Top Spinone Puppy and both Hetty and Roger gained their JW titles.
Zack gained his Irish show title.
Cassie won her first CC. Goldens B. Blushing Bride (Emma) and B. Canny Lad (for Pam Simms, St. Vincent) gained ch show awards.
2005 - Esta mated to Wynsett Mistero to produce dual CC winner Thompson (B. Daydream) for Vic Glazik, RCC and JW-winning Layla (B. Sweet Dreams for Jaspins) as foundation for Martin Wellman - Jaspins, and also ch show award-winning Mabel (B. Dream On) and Elmo (B. Pipedreams.
Hetty, Zack and Cassie all gained their show titles.
2006 - Esta gained two further CCs and her show title. Zack gained his Dutch show title. Layla was awarded Junior Champion in Holland and a RCC and her Junior Warrant in the UK at the end of the year.
2007 - Esta was titled 'Top Brood Bitch' for the breed.
Dash and Thompson both won their first CCs and Hetty took her total to 7.
In May, Esta produced a litter of 6 to Italian Import Ludstar Callisto in Italix.
2008 - Manchester ch show - Tica (B. Trick O The Tail) won MPB and PB to start off the next generation. Jaspins Sweet Nothings for Bedeslea (Macy) joined the del Caos kennel in Wisconsin and her sister Maddie (J Sweet Success) went to live at the Sweetbriar kennel in Pittsburgh with Dana and Dan Graff.
